What is Ripple as a payment method? According to the latest official news from Ripple, Ripple can complete transactions for receiving, sending, and paying through transfers between xRapid and XRP. Currently, there are many different forms of digital assets, such as Bitcoin, that can be exchanged through xCurrent or Ethereum. These tokens are called “Ripple” because they do not use blockchain technology to achieve decentralization, so there is no way to convert this currency into other cryptocurrencies or fiat currency. However, due to a large number of users worldwide using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ether to purchase, store, and sell goods and services, there is significant investment in Ripple in the first half of this year, with approximately $2.5 billion invested according to CoinGecko data.
