On August 24, 2021, at 2:00 AM, the “Dragon Clan Battle” of the League of Legends World Championship (Group A) was held in Iceland. EDG eliminated the opposing team with a score of 3:2. In the end, EDG defeated DK in the competition. And this morning around 6:30 AM, the showdown between the “Noxian Eagle Corps” unfolded once again. The two puppies, Darius and Ornn, both achieved triple kills.

First game:

EDG: DRX (top) + JingCore (support)

Jenry (bot): RNG + EBG (jungle), C9 + FPX (support). In the end, EDG defeated DK and obtained the second Infernal Dragon victory.

The second round of the S11 League of Legends Professional League (DFM) matches began in the early morning today. Six teams from LPL and the European region competed against each other in pairs, ultimately winning 1:0 to advance to the championship. The competition will take place from August 20th to October 2nd, with RNG in Group A, DK in Group B, FPX, FNC in Group C. In the end, EDG defeated Gank, T3 Dragon, and DK Dragon to secure the victory and successfully advanced to the finals of the World Finals.

In this tournament, EDG’s championship record was also unveiled, and the national team they represented ushered in a brand new era – a new world!

Although EDG had four consecutive defeats in the last match, their subsequent matches directly entered the bottom half due to the economic gap.
